Makes Sense When You Think About It…
It’s no secret that Gene Simmons is somewhat of a general when it comes to his band KISS and any of his other business ventures. It’s definitely understandable. His multi-million dollar businesses are more than successful and can only thrive under powerful leadership. That being said, do you think he’s going a little too far with this next one?
During a recent interview with Imperiumi, he revealed a certain rule that he has for ex-KISS members. Here is what he said when asked about the possibility of seeing ex-KISS members on the road with the band again…
“We talked about it, but we have not decided anything. The problem is, if you bring out special guests, they come on without makeup. You cannot put on the makeup. You’ve been out of the band 20 years. It’s not going to happen.”
Now, here’s my question for you. If you were an ex-KISS member, would you be okay with this? It seems strict, but it does kind of make sense when you think about it. People have to be able to distinguish the current members from the past ones. It’ll be interesting to hear what other former members of the band have to say about this one!
