Losing A “One Prized Possession” Is More Devastating Than Divorce…

Frances Bean Cobain just recently settled her divorce issue with her ex-husband Isaiah Silva, but she lost the most precious possession to her ex: her father’s famous MTV Unplugged guitar.

Grunge legend’s daughter settled her divorce to Isaiah Silva last May 15, 2018 (Monday), and had reached a property settlement agreement, according to TMZ.

Frances Bean Cobain married Silva in 2014 and filed for divorce in March 2016. She was declared single by a judge in November, the same year, despite the fact that they are still dividing their assets.

Now, Silva is now entitled to  Kurt Cobain’s famous MTV Unplugged guitar. He claimed that the grunge legend’s daughter had given him the guitar as a present, though Frances denied ever handing it to him the iconic Martin guitar Cobain played during his MTV Unplugged performance in November 1993. According to reports, the guitar is estimated to be worth of millions of dollars.

Despite Frances telling the judge that the guitar was meant to stay within the family,  her ex-husband will get to keep it.

It’s not his to take,” Frances’ mother, Courtney Love, previously told TMZ when asked regarding the issue. She then added and called the guitar as a “treasured heirloom.”
