Good Band Metallica Just Gave Back Something Awesome

They’re All About Fighting To End Hunger

Remember back in April when Metallica urged their fans to volunteer at food banks near them? Well they stepped it up a bit by taking a portion of their ticket sales and donating $10,000 to the North Dakota Great Plains Food Bank when they stopped over for a show in support of their “Hardwired… To Self-Destruct” album. This amount can supply over 30,000 meals! Plus, they also offered free tickets to the hard-working volunteers of the organization.

It’s heartwarming to say the least and definitely a much-needed good news.

With Metallica’s “All Within My Hands” charity foundation which was founded on February 2017, the band members have taken on an active role to fight against hunger. They are one of the most commercially successful rock bands of all time and it’s nice to see them give back not just to their fans but anyone in need.
