Rare Gem Indeed!

First off, we’d like to address the fact that this was labelled as “Point Me At The Sky” when in fact, it’s “Let There Be More Light.” We’re hoping whoever posted it will correctly type in the title of the song. Some think this is unforgivable because hey, they ought to know right? But we’re more than willing to let this slide because seriously, this is a real treat to fans.

Anyway, that’s not exactly major because we care more about the content of the video. This is a rare clip of Pink Floyd performing during a guest appearance at a French TV show called “Samedi et Compagnie” back in 1968. They were miming to the opening track of their second studio album, “A Saucerful of Secrets.”

Fun Fact: According to SongFacts, the line “For there revealed into glowing robes which Lucy into the sky” is a reference to The Beatles’ iconic tune “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.”

This takes us back to the ’60s easily.
