Choir! Choir! Choir!” is an open invitation singing group from Toronto known for their enormous tributes to legendary musicians such as Leonard Cohen and Chris Cornell.

It seems that David Byrne is a big fan of their work. He took on his Facebook account posting that he’s “sat mesmerized watching online videos” of the singing group.

Brooklyn Vegan reports, Choir! Choir! Choir! and Byrne played separate renditions of David Bowie’s 1977 all-time classic “Heroes” filmed for the group’s Digital Channels. They even did an unplanned cover of Madonna’s 1984 hit “Borderline” before the night was over.

Recently, Byrne announced his first solo album in 14 years called American Utopia.” It will be available on March 9 and be supported by an 80-date world tour in which he described as “the most ambitious show I’ve done since the shows that were filmed for [Talking Heads’] Stop Making Sense.”
