The Allman Brothers Band reissued the 1991 concert, Live At Great Woods, marking the 52nd anniversary of the band’s formation in 1969.

The Allman Brothers Band lately held the rights to the film, which was originally recorded at the Great Woods Amphitheater in Mansfield, MA on September 6th, 1991 for a Japanese TV special. The concert was first issued on DVD in February 2014 via Legacy Recordings.

The country-rock legends played their final show at New York’s Beacon Theatre on October 28, 2014.

After the group’s farewell concert, two of the original members have passed away: drummer Butch Trucks due to suicide in January of 2017 while the band’s keyboardist and singer Gregg Allman lost his battle against liver cancer four months later.
