Bluegrass Never Sounded Better

When you think of bluegrass, you probably think of Oklahoma or some state down in the South of the United States. A Bluegrass band from Finland called “Steve ‘n’ Seagulls” took on an AC/DC classic, “Thunderstruck“, and the end result is nothing short of amazing. With banjos, a mandolin, and spoons, this is unlike any rock cover you have heard.

Watch as these country boys wearing overalls, funny-looking hats, and country boots, use twang and a country, home-grown sound to portray this rock classic ballad. But these guys are REAL musicians with REAL talent.

Surprisingly, the mix of country and rock works well for these Finnish boys! They have a unique way to create their own sound and shtick and it’s working. In fact, we love writing about these guys because we get to enjoy their awesome style of covers.

“I was caught, In the middle of a railroad track
I looked round, And I knew there was no turning back
My mind raced, And I thought what could I do
And I knew, There was no help, no help from you
Sound of the drums, Beating in my heart
The thunder of guns, Tore me apart
You’ve been, Thunderstruck!”

Let the music take over, and listen to this unique mix of sounds with an open mind. The cover might just grow on you!
