In September 2020, the British channel Sky Arts premieres on its digital platform Brian Johnson Meets Dave Grohl, a documentary series where Dave Grohl and Brian Johnson met in Studio 606 of the Foo Fighters in Los Angeles, California, to talk and exchange stories about their trajectories and experiences in tours.
In a statement, Brian Johnson said of the former Nirvana drummer: “Dave Grohl’s passion for rock music is infectious, we had a ball reminiscing about the early days in our different careers. If he ever runs for President, he’d get my vote.”
The @SkyArts channel is planning to go free-to-air in the UK and the press release says it has “confirmed a raft of new shows, including Brian Johnson Meets Dave Grohl, a @somethinelse documentary in which the Foo Fighters and AC/DC frontmen hang out at @foofighters LA studio”

This was the third documentary where Brian Johnson talked to a rock star. The singer previously presented two series of his documentary and was attended by Robert Plant, Roger Daltrey, Lars Ulrich, Nick Mason, Mark Knopfler, Joe Walsh, Paul Rodgers, Joe Elliott, and Dolly Parton.
Thus, we do not expect less that the documentary Brian Johnson Meets Dave Groh is a marvel. They are both rock legends, they do not tend to mince words and have been achieving success with their music for decades.
Brian Johnson Meets Dave Grohl was produced by Somethin ‘Else, the production house that also made Brian Johnson’s 2019 series A Life on the Road, also on Sky Arts.
