Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band have released the new single “Ghosts”, which is the second single from their upcoming album “Letter to you” due out on October 23rd.
This single is a tribute to the deceased members of the E Street Band, Clarence Clemmons, Dani Federici, and their musical assistant Terry Magovern, who passed away between 2007 and 2011.
“Letter to you” was written by Springsteen in the first half of 2019 after he visited a colleague who was dying of cancer, prompting the American singer to remember his former colleagues who had previously died.
Springsteen previously mentioned that despite not being with Clarence and Danny anymore, he still has them very much present, and comments that a beautiful part of living is what the dead leave us.
