Dave Grohl, on the news again, last Monday night, as the frontman of Foo Fighters teamed up with Jimmy Kimmel to honor a trauma nurse on the front lines against the battle of the coronavirus pandemic. The episode was a part of Kimmel’s #HealthCareHero series, Grohl surprised TJ Riley, who is a lifelong Foo Fighters fan, by playing an acoustic version of “Everlong.”
“I feel like I’m having a coronavirus dream,” Riley joked after when he saw Grohl onto his screen.
The Life is Good Foundation also gifted Riley and his department a $10,000 gift packages as recognition for their bravery.
In related news, Foo Fighters has again altered their 2020 touring plans due to the uncertain end of the pandemic. The band already postponed their 25th anniversary “Van Tour” until the fall. While their 2020 summer tour is rescheduled to take place in 2021.
