We’re Glad You’re Back!
Phil Collen of Def Leppard recently rejoined again in the band’s co-headlining tour of North America with Journey last May 30 in Cincinnati, OH. You can check the videos below.
Phil Collen had to leave the band last May 25 just days after they opened in Hartford. His sudden leave was about dealing “a family emergency.”
Steve Brown (Trixter’s guitarist) had taken for a while to handles Collen’s position due to his absence with the band. Browned managed to perform three shows with Def Leppard during the week in Hershey, PA (May 25), Buffalo, NY (May 26), and Cleveland, OH (May 28).
Brown seems to be the first choice to play the similar role for Def Leppard, last 2014 Def Leppard asked for his assistance to handle’s Vivian Cambell position when he was off the road to undergo treatment for cancer.
The group is still keeping it silent and hasn’t shared any information regarding Collen’s “family emergency.”
