10. Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny

If Jack Black is in it, then, of course, it will be a great rock n roll movie. There’s no denying that Tenacious D are good musicians, but combining rock n roll legends with humor? Man, this movie is a work of genius.

9. The Rocky Horror Picture Show

You can watch this movie a hundred times, and yeah, you won’t get tired of it. Nothing beats a film if Richard O’Brien is behind the music, the script, the story, and the characters, Everything just perfect.

8. Purple Rain

All I can say about this movie in four words: PRINCE IS F___ING AWESOME!

7. Walk The Line

You can watch it over and over again and fall in love with the amazing story of Johnny Cash all over again. If not the greatest love story of all time, I don’t know what is.

6. A Hard Day’s Night

The movie that paved the way for every music video. Not only a work of art but a fun movie that will give you a good laugh, plus it has some of the Beatles songs it in.

5. Rock of Ages

Everyone wants to become a rockstar, and you’d be a liar if you say no. This movie depicts what being a Rock Star means.  And who doesn’t love a movie with Tom Cruise in it?

4. The Wall – Pink Floyd

Strange, but still an awesome movie! Two Words: PURE GENIUS!

3. School of Rock

“Dude, I service society by rocking, OK? I’m out there on the front lines liberating people with my music!” – the best line in the movie and it kinda says it all.

2. Almost Famous

Do you want a movie that kinda feels real, like visually and musically? Almost Famous is probably what you are looking for. Rock at its absolute finest.

1. This Is Spinal Tap

“My amps go all the way up to 11.” Best line ever! Probably one of the most memorable movies in this list.
