The Secret Revealed… That You Probably Already Knew

If you were a rock fan during the time that Van Halen were at the height of their popularity, then you’ll remember how every guys from San Diego to Boston wanted to be just like frontman David Lee Roth. He was without a doubt the very definition of the perfect rockstar. He had the look, the voice, and the moves. Needless to say, he was a god.

To say that he was influential is an understatement. As soon as he became popular, many other rock frontmen tried to imitate his sense of fashion, bleach blonde hair, and charismatic stage presence.

Now here’s the funny thing. These people that have worked so hard to become just like him all lacked the one little secret that, according to Dave, is what makes him… him.

During a recent interview with Forbes, he revealed how doing this one simple thing could essentially turn you into him. Here is what he said…

“I’m one of a half-dozen frontmen that after two beers the whole world can imitate. Everybody has a David Lee Roth imitation, just like you have a [Mick] Jagger imitation and now you have a Freddie [Mercury] imitation.”

Is he actually being serious? Well, I don’t think so, but hey, you never know. But he does have a good point. Anybody can be having fun after two beers, and Diamond Dave is the personification of having a blast.

So if you wanna give it a try, now’s your chance. But just do it responsibly.
