There is some awesome confidence on play throughout “The Hammer,” a new release debuted by Ann Wilson last Thursday afternoon, (Feb. 25).

Loud guitars and Wilson’s conventional powerhouse singing glorify the track, which highlights guitar from Tyler Boley and B3 keyboard performance from Dan Walker.

About the song, Ann said:, “‘The Hammer’ talks about that moment when the rubber meets the road, when all dreams, fantasies, and excuses fall by the wayside. The moment of truth. The edge of reality.”

“The Hammer” succeeds the February debut of “Tender Heart,” one of her new solo tracks, which later obtained a music video starring Olympic Ice Skater Gracie Gold and as well as cinematography from Nina Petrenko.
