Lynyrd Skynyrd released a video of a performance of their famous track, “Gimme Three Steps”, as a preview for their “Live At Knebworth ’76″ that will be released on April 9.
The lead single from band’s 1973 debut record, “Lynyrd Skynyrd (Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd)”, is one of out of the 11 tracks recorded during their August 1976 performancec at the Knebworth concert, performing before 150,000 audience as part of a day-long show featuring other artists such as Todd Rundgren’s Utopia, 10cc, Hot Tuna and headliners The Rolling Stones.
“Live At Knebworth ‘76” will be released in multiple formats, DVD+CD, Blu-ray+CD, a bonus limited edition 2LP+DVD, and digital video; the Blu-ray set also highlights the full-length 2018 documentary, “If I Leave Here Tomorrow: A Film About Lynyrd Skynyrd.”
Lynyrd Skynyrd are currently scheduled to do a series of summer live shows in Glen Allen, VA this coming May.
