Smashing Pumpkins is joined by special guest Haelstorm’s Lzzy Hale during the band’s stop in Nashville in their current “Shiny and Oh So Bright” tour.
Lzzy Hale is already based out of Nashville, and she passed by the Smashing Pumpkins’ set and joined in mid-song as the band was playing their cover of Led Zeppelin’s classic hit “Stairway to Heaven”. And the audience at the Bridgestone Arena went wild.
Smashing Pumpkins has been playing a cover of “Stairway to Heaven” as part of their setlist on this tour. Billy Corgan starting the song on keyboard and then the rest of the group join in and escalate into an epic take on the classic rock anthem, with Corgan and Hale duetting in parts and lyrics.
Smashing Pumpkins “Shiny and Oh So Bright” tour continues until early September.
Halestorm is gearing up for July 27 for the release of their fourth studio album, Vicious.
