Questlove, known as The Roots’ drummer showcased his amazing skill to name a Prince song just by hearing a one-second snippet – you can watch the video below.
The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon guest “Questlove” appeared to promote his newly published book called “Creative Quest” — and if you are wondering who Questlove and his band The Roots are, — they currently serve as Fallon’s house band.
He was dubbed as “the human Shazam” by Fallon before they started the segment, and then challenged him to take a Prince-themed ‘One-Second Song Quiz.’
After guessing a portion of Prince songs from one-second snippets (even nailing “Raspberry Beret” and “Get Off”), Questlove then continued to showcase his encyclopedic knowledge of Prince’s songs. Check it out — the full segment is available in the video below.
