Sharon Osbourne confirmed that her husband Ozzy Osbourne will be releasing a new studio album in January.
She announced the news during her appearance on SiriusXM when asked about how Ozzy’s been dealing with the fall injury he obtained at home that resulted in injuring his back, neck, and shoulders – dislocating the metal rods he had inserted following his 2003 ATV accident.
“He’s getting there and he’s just finished an album – and the album’s coming out in January” Sharon commented. “He’s doing good and is very excited about Take What You Want – the duet he did with Post Malone and Travis Scott. It’s doing great.”
Ozzy previously remarked the single helped him in regaining his creating process, hence the output is the new album, The Sun:
“I’ve made a new album and it’s helped get me back on track. I was just lying in my own self-pity for months. It’s the greatest album I’ve done.”
Sharon agrees with Ozzy by saying:
“It’s been a huge boost for him because he felt worthless.”
Sharon added that Ozzy might probably do a Las Vegas residency in the foreseeable future:
“It’s amazing. You go to The Park MGM – it’s a tremendous theatre. The sound system in there and the things you can do with your production, it’s fantastic.”
