Pink Floyd recently released a music video for an alternate version of their 1987 classic track, “Learning To Fly,” included in their newly-issued box set, “The Later Years 1987-2019.”
The track was the lead single from their thirteenth studio album, “A Momentary Lapse Of Reason,” their first project post-Roger Waters era: it peaked at No. 3 on both the US and UK charts.
“The Later Years 1987-2019” is the companion of their 2016 release, “The Early Years 1965-1972” featuring new 5-CD/6-Bli-ray/5-DVD packages including an updated version of “A Momentary Lapse Of Reason,” as an expanded edition of the 1998 live album “Delicate Sound Of Thunder,” with a series of 1987 & 1994 live recordings & unreleased studio recordings, featuring a full versions of Pink Floyd’s 1989 Venice Concert and 1990 appearance at Knebworth.
Including on the DVD/Blu-ray material in the package is a restored and remixed concert film of the “Delicate Sound Of Thunder,” a restored and re-edited edition of the 1995 live set “Pulse,” including several unreleased live films, music videos, and screen films.
