Everybody Was Singing In That Stadium
With a lot of Super Bowl buzz going around since it’s almost game day, we can’t help but to anticipate this year’s half-time show coming up. Maroon 5 is set to take the stage alongside rapper Travis Scott in Atlanta, GA on February 3rd, in the nation’s biggest televised sporting event.
There’s a big difference though between rock artists from back in the day, and modern pop artists. It’s just the energy. There’s just something about rock n’ roll you can’t channel through electronic music or rap. It’s all about the lyrics and live instruments and how you show up.
This reminded us of when Beatles’ great Paul McCartney was selected to perform Super Bowl XXXIX’s half time show. And who can forget? Wow. What a performance. The whole show was awesome. An absolute legend who didn’t even need to share the stage with anyone, and people would still be satisfied. But there was one part that really stuck out. This moment brought the entire stadium (and people at home watching) together. This was during the song “Hey Jude”. The part where everyone gets to sing “Na na nanana naaaaa”.
