The magic of Ringo and his All Starr Band first graced the stage on July 23, 1989, at the Park Central Amphitheatre in Dallas, Texas. Commemorating this remarkable milestone, the 2019 tour commenced with a single US show at Harrah’s Resort Southern California on March 21st before embarking on a journey to captivate Japanese audiences. The Japanese leg of the tour kicked off in Fukuoka on March 27th and concluded on April 11th in Osaka.
As August dawned, the band resumed their tour, beginning at Harrah’s in Windsor and concluding on September 1st at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, California. Notably, this final performance marked nearly 30 years since the inaugural All Starrs concluded their groundbreaking tour on September 3, 1989.
Unforgettable Performances and Reunion of Talents
The 2019 All Starr Band lineup featured an exceptional ensemble of musicians, including the legendary Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Gregg Rolie, Warren Ham, and Gregg Bissonette. The return of All Starr alum Hamish Stuart added to the star-studded cast.
