Rock Pasta Reviews: Why ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ Is Better Than “Revolver”

Not Trying To Overstate Anything Here – Just An Opinion!

Why “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band Is Better Than “Revolver?” To answer this question, – because “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” is one of the greatest albums ever witnessed by mankind.

The legendary group had certainly made use of the studio as an instrument when recording the album. The way they presented their music on this album was so artistic and beautiful – it had an “everlasting” feel to it. The sound quality was so clean and crisp. And more importantly, the songs are too great to be true.

However, many of our favorite Beatles songs came from their other albums, but that being said, these other albums, even though they contained a lot of our favorites, were just somehow collections of songs.

Many people might argue that “Revolver” was way better than “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” and somewhat influential. (But keep in mind that almost all of their albums were!) It is hard to refuse that “Revolver” is a good album, but Sgt. Peppers is a way better rock-themed album. It’s also hard not to love them both, but culturally speaking, Sgt. Peppers was another matter.

There’s nothing wrong with comparing these two great albums with different perspectives. I have taken a lot of time and listened to “Sgt. Peppers” and I kind of always feel that this album is and was indeed top-notch (but anyway, Beatles is the Beatles). Anything you will get from these guys will always be a game changer.

But all that said, The Beatles changed the whole foundation and concept of rock music with “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.” The way they produced and executed this album, it certainly deserves its status as one of the greatest releases of the sixties rock music. – The “ALBUM” that defined music as an “ARTFORM”.
