Rockstars You Should Be Following On Social Media and Why

Ah, the new age…

Welcome to social media where you can FOLLOW your favorite stars and they won’t call the cops on you and where it’s perfectly natural to stalk other people. Twenty years ago, if someone told us we can someday take a peek into the daily lives of rockstars, we’d probably say it’s a bluff. But hey, here we are.

These rock legends and icons didn’t just master the art of taking selfies but they’re also seriously funny and witty. If you’re not yet following them, you’re missing out big time. Oh and just a warning, there’s no shortage of drama.

P.S. Click the names to see their official Twitter or Instagram pages.

If you’re into watching rehearsal sessions in studios, this is the account you’re looking for.

Chad Smith

You probably won’t see clips from his movies here. Oh wait, wrong guy.

Paul McCartney

Even the great Macca isn’t immune to the allure of Instagram.

Scott Ian

Sounds like a pretty fun guy. And he has both Twitter and Instagram.

Yoko Ono

Around 90% of her feed features Yoko Ono wearing a hat and sunglasses. Classic.

He doesn’t tweet as much but he’s pretty consistent in posting on Instagram. And he has some weird, disturbing and freaky content.

Because we can never get enough of The Boss.

Joe Perry

We’re living for clips like this.

30 Seconds To Mars

Jared Leto being his usual rockstar self? Yes please.

Ozzy Osbourne

No snorting a line of ants or biting the ear off a live bat but we have the next best thing.

Foo Fighters

They’ll keep you updated on their upcoming shows.

Nikki Sixx

Remember the time Tommy Lee claimed Nikki Sixx unfollowed him on Twitter? Well, follow him if you like a bit of drama every now and then.

Dave Mustaine

Dave Mustaine is many things but he sure knows how to use Twitter the right way. In between responding to fans and promoting stuff, he likes to rant too.

Corey Taylor

He’s always been opinionated so if you can’t take the heat, don’t tickle the dragon… P.S. The guy likes taking selfies on Instagram too.
