Carlos Santana is one of the most influential guitarists of all time thanks to the fusion of Latin rhythms with rock. Now, the creator of ‘Samba Pa Ti’ confirmed that Kirk Hammett, guitarist of Metallica, will participate in his next record material.
The two guitarists will perform ‘Blessings and Miracles’, the song that will give the album its name. This is not the first time that the musicians have participated together, since, in 2005, Santana invited Kirk to be present in ‘Trinity’, which is part of the album ‘All That I Am’
During an interview conducted in the 1990s, Kirk Hammett stated that playing with Carlos at the Bammies Awards was one of the proudest moments in his career and that they have both traveled along very similar lines.
Hammett will not only be the guest of this new one. Steve Winwood, British songwriter and former Traffic leader, and Living Color vocalist Corey Glover will also be a feature on other tracks.
