Tesla Cancels Tour Due To Covid-19

Tesla are just one of the lastest bands to change tour schedules due to the CoVid-19 pandemic outbreak. The group is postponing a series of North American shows that were set to kick off next month.

The tour was scheduled from April 10 through May 1. Tesla will reschedule for fall.

“Due to the current concerns regarding COVID-19, the health and safety of our fans, local venue staffs, as well as the health and safety of our band and crew, is of utmost priority,” the band said in a statement. They noted that tickets would be honored for the reschedules, and will be announced: “very soon.”

A total of around 340,000 active cases of the coronavirus outbreak have been confirmed worldwide, while 14,704 are dead, and 99,014 recovered. The cases increased under 24 hours to 25,000 cases and 1,121 deaths. In the U.S., there are a total of 35,060 cases with deaths totaling 457 and will likely to go up.
