The Red Hot Chili Peppers received the 2,717th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 31. While the great majority of celebrities with “stars” are from the performing and film industries, a handful of musicians have been honored over the years.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame has embraced several of the city’s local players, in addition to legendary acts like The Beatles, Elton John, KISS, and Queen. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, who began their careers at Fairfax High School, just a few blocks from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, are just another example of a local success story gone right. Stars include Slash, Motley Crue, Jane’s Addiction, Cypress Hill, and others from the Los Angeles area.
So, take a look at the list below (curated by Loudwire) to see some of the rock stars who have been honored with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
