Rock N’ Roll earned one of the greatest performer and singer and that’s Janis Joplin. She was indeed energetic and a powerhouse performer and knew exactly what to do and how to do it. With her raspy voice, she would go on and touch the soul of her crowd, singing blues, and rock together.

Janis Joplin got people’s attention when she was first introduced to perform at the iconic Monterey Pop Festival with her band called the Big Brother and the Holding Company. After releasing two albums with the band, she went on and joined the band called the Kozmic Blues Band, and after few years with the Full Tilt Boogie.

She earned her massive following and rose to fame after her historic performance at the Woodstock Festival in 1969, though she was high, she still managed to pull one of the most impressive performances during the Festival. Sadly, that was one of her final major performances.
