Through videos, the 69-year-old woman teaches how to play the drums in an easy and didactic way.
In conversation with the local ABC affiliate, Dorothea Taylor commented that “I had this dream. I always wanted to become this famous drummer. That was when I was a teenager, so it was in the back of my mind. ”
With more than 56 years of playing drums, the “Godmother of Drums,” caused a sensation in the networks, because in 2020 she stood out with her drum covers of Paramore, Slipknot, and Disturbed.
From the latter band, she performed the song Down with the Sickness, achieving more than 13 million views on YouTube.
