What An Uncomfortable Moment…

We’re just two weeks removed from the 76th Annual Golden Globes, but everyone is still talking about the well deserved wins for ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. In case you missed it, the film took home two awards. One for Best Motion Picture and the other for Best Actor awarded to Rami Malek for his stunning portrayal of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury.

The night couldn’t have gone better for the cast and crew of the film. The passion project of Queen that had been almost 10 years in the making had finally come to fruition. But with that said, the night definitely could’ve gone a lot smoother for Malek…

Things definitely got awkward as Malek made his way up to the stage. Nicole Kidman, who presented the cast with the Best Motion Picture award, seemed to snub Malek in front of everyone. Malek even went as far as tapping her on the back to get her attention, but all to no avail.

What’s even more is that this awkward moment was engrained in Malek’s mind even days after…

Now, I’m sure that this was unintentional on Kidman’s part, but nevertheless Malek does seem embarrassed by it, and who wouldn’t be? Especially when the whole WORLD is watching!

As you know, the Oscars are right around the corner and there is already heavy speculation that ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is going to do what it just did at the Golden Globes and that is steal the show. However, if and when Malek takes the stage, hopefully he won’t get snubbed again!
