This kid definitely has a bright future ahead of him!
Queen’s masterpiece classic Bohemian Rhapsody has got to be one of the most challenging songs to cover in any form whether vocally or instrumentally. And 11-year old drumming prodigy Avery Molek does it with such control and precision, we gotta give props to him playing the drum part very well and for not overplaying it one bit, which seems to be the tendency in most rock drum covers.
Avery introduces his video with a message in which he admits,
“I always thought this song was silly and it made me laugh. I never knew what this song was about. People all have their own thoughts about what the meaning is of the song.”
He adds, “But one thing I think we can all agree on is that it is one of the greatest rock songs of all time.”
Yes! We can all agree on that. But we can also all agree that Avery is a very talented young drummer!
He has been playing the drums since he was 7 years old and he learned how to play all by himself. He has a natural gift right from the start. Keep up the good work, Avery!
