Trivium frontman Matt Heafy loves to pay homage to some of his influences, and his latest cover is a take on Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train,” in such a new different approach.
Matt Heafy goes acoustic for one of the best heavy metal songs ever written. He renders a lower register to give it an emotional feel to it. He recorded the song via his Twitch channel which you can watch below.
Trivium took a break in 2019 after heavy touring the previous year. So far, there is no recent news about the group releasing a new album as of yet. Still, Heafy continues to spend his free time online with plenty of covers. Trivium will have one tour date this year in September.
Ozzy Osbourne is expected to return and resume his touring this year after his battle with multiple health issues in 2019.
