Ozzy Osbourne “bathes” in precious milestone thanks to “Crazy Train” and “Mr. Crowley.”
Ozzy Osbourne returned with a vengeance thanks to the sales of “Crazy Train” and “Mr. Crowley” in the United States. And it turns out that the first one achieved the quadruple-platinum certificate by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America) on September 1, has already sold four million units. On the same day, “Mr. Crowley” managed to achieve the certificate of “golden song”, selling half a million.
“Crazy Train” and “Mr. Crowley” originally appeared on Ozzy Osbourne’s debut solo album, the iconic 1980s ‘Blizzard Of Ozz’. This album, moreover, has already been certified as 5-platinum, more specifically on the 15th. August 1997.
‘Blizzard Of Ozz’ was also reissued in 2011, in a restored and remastered version of the original recordings. It was released separately or as part of a box that also contained the 1981 album ‘Diary Of A Madman’, both on CD and on vinyl and with a 100-page book, as well as a documentary DVD.
