Youtube user Adi Leverty compiled videos of legendary guitar gods Paul Gilbert, Steve Morse, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Vai, Jimi Hendrix, and Kiko Loureiro turning it up differently playing acoustic rather than electric and it is evidence of how scarily amazing these musicians are. SRV even dons a 12-string acoustic in here and it’s nothing short of phenomenal. The montage really showed how technically proficient these guitarists are, performing their musical sophistication without the smoke and mirrors guitar effects usually provide. Each guitarist is different from the other by the way they hold and strike the more natural instrument. Their different styles of playing just naturally stand out with the raw, unplugged sound of the acoustic guitar.
