“Rock & Roll Road Trip With Sammy Hagar” gives fans the perfect backstage pass as Sammy Hagar takes them on an exclusive and memorable tour honoring everything rock ‘n’ roll. Throughout the series, Hagar visits the residences of a number of rock’s most famous people and musicians, conducting interviews, collaborating with them, and visiting their favourite spots.
In the first two episodes, Hagar and ex-VAN HALEN bass player Michael Anthony go around the Sunset Strip, reminiscing at the renowned Whisky A Go Go before driving to the house of MOTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee to cook, debate, and play rock hits “Rock Candy” and “Going Down.”
AXS TV’s original series Rock & Roll Road Trip with Sammy Hagar, sponsored by Mercury Insurance, follows the Red Rocker as he travels the nation interviewing and jamming with some of the biggest names in music, including Tommy Lee, Bob Weir, Alice Cooper, Nancy Wilson, and others. Hagar’s personal experiences and travel habits with his brand-new supergroup, The Circle, are also shown in the documentary.
