You Can Like Or Not Like The Song, But It Never Gets Old


There are incredible elements of the song that makes it still popular to this day.

All of its guitar work is epic, and no one can argue with that, (especially the duet/duel part towards the end), and most of its instrumentation are all fascinating. At least, once in our life, probably did an air guitar at the solo part to Hotel California, and you’re probably lying if you haven’t.

The lyrics still fascinates us, and we still talked about it – it tells a story, and you can interpret it in a lot of different ways. Most of the lines, not just “Hotel California,” sticks in our heads, such as “They stab it with their steely knives, but they just can’t kill the beast,” “You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave,” and “We are all just prisoners here, of our own device.” And we’re baffled about these lines of why they stick in our heads.
