Will History Repeat Itself With This Lineup?

Woodstock 50th anniversary will be a collaboration between hip-hop, RNB, and Rock N’ Roll. Such huge names will set to play in the big event like the Killers, Jay-Z, Halsey, Chance The Rapper and Miley Cyrus.

But that won’t be all, as Rock Fans will get to enjoy this huge event as it will also welcome Woodstock-era staples such as Dead & Company, Santana, John Fogerty, and Robert Plant And The Sensational Shape Shifters. Addition to the lineup will also include known names; Fever 333, Bishop Briggs, Grandson, and Boygenius.

The lineup was allegedly rumored to have downsized after INVNT backed down from the event. Some other reason was concerning about the festival grounds being able to hold such a large audience.

“While the original site in Bethel remains close to our hearts, it no longer has the capacity to hold a real Woodstock Festival,” Woodstock co-creator Michael Lang says, I’m delighted that Bethel Woods is doing events in the coming year to celebrate what we brought to life in 1969.”

However, the event organizer suggests that the festival did not downsize at all. Instead, it was moved to a new place in Watkins Glen, New York to withstand a large festival and audience.

The Festival will take three days starting from August 16-18.
