The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2020 will include classic rock artists such as The Doobie Brothers, T-Rex, and Nine Inch Nails along with other acts of different genres such as Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, and The Notorious B.I.G.
The Doobie Brothers and T-Rex along with Houston and Notorious B.I.G., despite their first years on the ballot, made the cut. While Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode were both on the ballot on previous years.
In addition with The Doobie Brothers and T-Rex, Jon Landau, Bruce Springsteen’s manager, and co-producer, and Eagles manager Irving Azoff will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award. This award is given to non-performers for their contribution to rock n’ roll.
The Dave Matthews Band won the winner of the fan vote but will not be inducted. On the Dobbie Brothers who won the third place among the five artists who comprised the latest fan ballot will be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. While Pat Benatar, Soundgarden, and Judas Priest didn’t make the cut.

The induction ceremony will be kicking off at 8 PM ET on May 2 at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland. HBO will broadcast the ceremony live for the first time. The Hall will also announce the performers, presenters and other guests weeks before the event. SiriusXM’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Radio will also be broadcasting the ceremony live.
Tickets will be available to the general public via Ticketmaster on Feb. 27 starting at 10 AM ET, while pre-sale for donors will begin on February 25.
